terms of service

1. acceptance

By creating an account or using perkies ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and contributors.

2. what perkies is

perkies is a link-in-bio platform that lets you create a public profile page at a custom URL (perki.es/your-username). You can add links, customize the appearance, and show your Discord presence and Spotify activity.

3. your account

You are responsible for:

• keeping your password secure and not sharing your account
• all activity that happens under your account
• providing accurate information when signing up
• notifying us at support@perki.es if you suspect unauthorized access

You must be at least 13 years old to use perkies.

4. username policy

Usernames are first-come, first-served. We reserve the right to reclaim usernames that are inactive for more than 12 months, impersonate real people or brands, or otherwise violate these terms. You keep your username as long as your account is in good standing. We will not sell usernames.

5. acceptable use

You agree not to use perkies to:

• post illegal content, including content that violates copyright or privacy laws
• harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate other people
• distribute spam, malware, or phishing links
• upload sexually explicit content involving minors
• attack, scrape excessively, or otherwise damage the service or its infrastructure
• use automated tools to create fake accounts or inflate analytics

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

6. your content

You own the content you upload (images, audio, links). By uploading it, you grant perkies a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display it as part of the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you upload.

7. service availability

We aim to keep perkies online, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We'll make reasonable efforts to notify users of major changes.

8. termination

You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your profile URL becomes available for others to claim and your data is deleted.

9. limitation of liability

perkies is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if any).

10. changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here and update the "last updated" date. Continued use of perkies after changes means you accept the updated terms.
